THE CROFT This traditional-style semi-detached house, is located in the quiet crofting community of Melvaig, near Gairloch, situated approx. 200 yards from the shore. The house overlooks the sea, with views of Skye, Harris and Lewis. The Beinn Eighe Reserve and the Torridon Mountains are just a short distance away. |
| Melvaig has a cafe bar/restaurant, with another tea room nearby. The area's attractions include whale-watching and marine-life trips, including visits to the puffin colonies on the Shiant islands, salmon, trout and sea-fishing, golf course and pony trekking. Also, boat trips on Loch Maree to view Viking graves, bike hire, deer museum, guided hill walks and Inverewe Gardens, to name but a few. |  View from The Croft |

The fully fitted modern kitchen overlooks
the sea. Well equipped with electric
cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge
and freezer, washer, tumble dryer, toaster,
food mixer etc. plus a good range of
cooking utensils including coffee maker.
There is an adjacent dining area with patio windows looking out onto the islands. |

Double bedroom with king size bed, second
bedroom with comfortable bunk beds, both
with fitted wardrobes and traditional furnishings.
Bathroom with electric overbath shower, WC, heater and heated towel rail. |

TARIFF £175 - £350 per week A deposit, together with a retainer is requested on booking. Sheets, pillow cases, bath and hand towels, and tea towels, can be provided at an extra charge. Electricity is metered and the amount will be deducted from your retainer. The meter will be read on arrival and departure. A deposit of £75 per week is requested in advance together with a retainer of £35. The balance is payable 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday. Bookings are from Friday 4pm to Friday 9.30am Parking space for 2 cars in front of the house.

LOCATION The coastline around Melvaig and to Rua Reidh Lighthouse (approx. 4 miles north) is rugged, a haven for nesting birds, seals, whales and otters.

Gairloch (20 minutes) has hotels, shops, doctors and a dental surgery. Fishing trips and guided hill walks available locally by prior arrangement. |
